Our polycrystalline diamond solutions
Element Six polycrystalline diamond (PCD) offers several advantages over cemented carbides, including increased abrasion resistance and extended tool life – typically 100 times or greater. PCD continues to gain market share in woodworking applications and now accounts for approximately 10% of the woodwork tooling market.

Element Six is the only company worldwide to offer a complete range of PCD, CVD (chemical vapour deposition) and single crystal synthetic diamond materials for all the application areas and tool types used in woodworking. Our range of PCD woodworking products has been developed to meet all the exacting application and workpiece requirements of high-volume wood product manufacturers. Our wood machining PCD range includes fine, medium and coarse grain unimodal and multi-modal grades. In addition, a new, unique and patented coated PCD (WPC102) offers further performance and up to three times the improvement in tool life.
