Element Six believes in caring for the environment. We are committed to the continual improvement of our environmental performance. We facilitate and encourage the responsible design, use, re-use, recycling and disposal of our products.
We continue to look for ways to maintain our sustainability, from using innovative electro-chemical processes to recover product from our high pressure processes to reducing our energy usage. For example, as part of our careful energy usage monitoring, we have introduced the DIN EN 16001 energy management standard to a key manufacturing site, as part of a global implementation.
Perhaps our greatest contribution to global sustainability lies in the extreme performance of our products themselves.
Our products are used in a wide variety of industries and applications across the world. Our abrasive materials offer tool makers outstanding energy efficiencies on a scale of magnitude, as well as result in better utilisation of raw materials. Our single crystal synthetic diamond solutions are being used to develop new sustainability technologies, including the creation of chemical-free industrial wastewater treatment facilities, and the development of chemical reaction technology to break down pollutants that can only be incinerated today.
