Element Six announces new 22mm shank pick range

Element Six expands tungsten carbide pick portfolio, suitable for use in road planing, soil stabilisation and cold recycling

8th April 2019: Element Six, a world leader in supermaterials and part of the De Beers Group, has today announced the formal launch of its next generation high-quality soil stabilisation picks to meet the tool requirements of customers in the construction industry.

As one of the leading producers of road planing and soil stabilisation picks, Element Six has revealed its latest range, which includes nine new picks designed for applications in road planing, soil stabilisation and cold recycling. The new range of picks delivers the consistent high quality expected of Element Six, resulting in a longer tool lifetime and commercial advantages for end users.

The new 22mm shank pick range features a selection of MasterGrade™ picks that utilise nano-technology to enhance the cobalt binder matrix. The result is a versatile pick range with greater wear resistance and the potential extend tool life expectancy by up to 50% compared to standard picks available on the market.  By cutting time-consuming pick changes, our customers see a greater return on manpower and machine assets by increasing productivity and reducing operating costs.
